Welcome to the Student Planning Organization
of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University
of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
SPO's mission is to provide a vehicle
for communication between staff, faculty and students in the planning
program, provide forums for workshops and discussions, and organize
social events for the department.

News & Events
- The SPO encourages all planning students to attend the Illinois APA conference in Champaign this October. It will be taking place on October 29-31st, and students can attend with a discounted $60 registration fee. Click here for the online registration page.
- Urbanista shirts are available! The cost is $15. Please see a member of the SPO board to purchase a shirt, or attend our next meeting, where they will be for sale. Proceeds from the sale of these shirts go toward SPO events and conference costs.
