Images of pamphlets, protests, and clips from student publications from 1965 to 2004 were on display in the atrium as part of an FAA Arts Exchange Workshop entitled "Activist Campus; a walking and biking tour of sites of protest on and near the UIUC campus". Prof. Ken Salo, with the help of UP 260 and UP 494 students, prepared the images for display and led the tour. Read more.

The Chicago-based planning firm of Camiros, Ltd. donated nearly 1,400 planning documents published from the 1970s through the 2000s to the Funk Library, which contains the City Planning and Landscape Architecture collection at the University of Illinois. Read more..
SPO has been busy planning activities this semester. Along with their weekly City Cafe meetings, where current students present planning issues from their diverse hometowns or countries, they are organizing a second Professional Development trip to Cincinnati for early November.
